In 1999, softskin productions was created in a dark basement linear VHS editing room of Dwinelle Hall at the University of California, Berkeley after the completion of the documentary, i of MOTION..us of MOVEMENT in Loni Ding’s Ethnic Studies social documentary class.
Following video formats starting with VHS to hi-8 to digital-8 to mini-dv to high definition from the early 90s to the present.
Currently based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
